Donations are not used to provide any subsidy for rents and housing services. They are maintained in a separate fund and are used solely for improvements to the additional amenities provided for residents and for the support of the elderly and infirm of Mersea. All donations are acknowledged and the Trust is also able to obtain basic rate tax relief to add to the donation. Occasionally the Trust also receives bequests that have enabled it to make very significant improvements. Donations may be sent to the Trust at its Akhurst Court office or potential donors may wish to contact the Trust’s treasurer in order to discuss any proposals. This may be done via this sites contact page. |
